Our mission is simple. To provide engaging, quality lessons to students who love music. We believe that music should be fun and we provide the foundation for a life-long love of music.
In addition to private lessons, we regularly offer performance opportunities in various venues such as relaxed group lessons, local nursing homes or hospitals, coffee shops and regular recitals. Performing is a natural part of a musicians' life and regular practice and lessons in musicality help students to feel more comfortable and perform with passion and purpose.
We also hold camps that focus on theory, composing, music history and performance. These are fun group settings to enhance students' lessons and promote studio camaraderie.
We believe musicality, or the use of dynamics and articulation along with many other layers of musical performance, is lost in the regular lesson curriculum. While a student learning a song which they will soon perform on a regular basis will learn to focus more on the end product: the passion and feeling behind the song. In a studio environment we can provide practice towards those goals and schedule performance opportunities often.
We hope you see the value in these experiences. Music is nothing without musicality. "To play a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable." -Beethoven
